President's Message

Greetings Neighbors!

It is my pleasure to serve as the Village Lakes HOA Board President this year and I am thankful to be a part of a committed team that complements the Board. Our goal extends beyond the maintenance of our common areas and community to fostering a true Village and engaging its residents. We wish to keep Village Lakes a great place to live.

Thinking of buying a home in Village Lakes? Our community has amenities to suit almost every lifestyle. Our homeowners enjoy four beautiful bodies of water where one can spend a leisurely day of fishing, canoeing, or simply enjoying nature. Village Lakes boasts additional amenities such as a pool, clubhouse, tennis courts, and a playground for children 12 years and under.

COVID-19 and its variants continue to make things a bit challenging – we continue to keep this in mind as we think of creative ways for us to plan opportunities for us to safely connect. We welcome your participation in this and other efforts to build a greater feeling of community. Your active participation in these efforts and at planned events not only allows us the opportunity to connect; it also allows your voice to be heard regarding any concerns, or invaluable ideas you may have.

My time on the Board has enabled me to meet quite a few of you and has confirmed that Village Lakes is truly rich in diversity! As you get to know your neighbors, you will find that as diverse as we are, we share a few similarities, one of which is our love for this place we call home. This common bond can be the foundation on which we work together to improve the lived experience for everyone in our Village.

The reintroduction of the Village Lakes HOA website will allow us to share information more readily and provides instructions on reserving the clubhouse, and ways to contact Board and committee members. The included calendar will allow you to keep up with current activities, future events, and meetings in our Village. We hope you'll find our community website a great resource and useful communications tool.
